I'd rather catch something honest than something perfect. That's where the good stuff is, in the ordinary bits most people don't think to look at twice - the extraordinary within the ordinary.

That's the eye I bring to weddings and life's milestones. I try to fade into the background so I can catch what's actually happening: the inside jokes, the look right before the vows, the tenderness (and mild chaos) of a family just being themselves. Those are the photos people end up loving most, the ones they still pull out years later.
